If you’re trying to use the recently released VMware View Client for iPad, and you’re getting a warning stating “Desktop Loading Warning. Your desktop is loading too slowly” this might be why.

VMware ESX 3i to become completely free

VMware has decided to make its ESX 3i enterprise-level hypervisor free for anyone to download and use. The ESX series is the enterprise-level virtualization foundation and the 3i version is a simple-to-manage product based on the full ESX code. All ESX products run directly “on the metal” so you don’t have an in-between OS layer as you do with Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware Server.
